Checking In

You can always tell when we're busy because I won't get to blogging for a day or two or four at a time. Hopefully I don't go four days very often, but when the pets start calling - we're called to action! Throw baseball games and election debates into the mix and I had zero time.

I spent a few nights with the Mastiff's this week also. We'll be profiling these two girls soon, so stay in touch! But as for the past few days I can sum that up by saying - Me, Boatee, Latte, 1 bed. I woke up in the middle of a horrible nightmare afraid that I had become paralyzed in my sleep~ NOPE! It was just the 180 pound Latte making a nest on top of my legs. I'll have to explain to these two that they are NOT lap dogs.

Meg is with a new client named Indiana...Jonesie for friends and family. He did good his first night and really seems to dig staying home, throwing parties...I mean 'watching the house'...and spending his time with Meg.

We had a few meetings today as well, and met some really great dogs. A puggle named Maximus, a Chiuahua named Nieve and a Pug named Jonesie Boggs.. Great names and great dogs (and puppies) all and we look forward to caring for them during their upcoming service requests.

I'm home with the Pigs (Brady and Nina and Lennon) - we had a great fetch session in the yard tonight after work. They are terriers at heart and need to be allowed to be terriers, and so we try to give them as many opportunities to be so as we can. Ball fetch, stick fetch and oh yes!, swim fetch is the BEST! For two terriers, they love the water more than any Lab! Lennon came outside with us but just hung around. As much as she seems to think she's a dog, she hasn't yet found any interest in chasing sticks and balls and sprinkler water!

I'll check in on Sunday night. I already know that I won't be getting back until then. Friday and Saturday are cookin'!

My husband and I hired homesweet home petcare last week to take care of our dog Ciara while we were away and i just had to say that we were incredibly happy with their services. I will definitely use them for all our future pet sitting needs and i will definitely recomend them to all our friends with pets. They were just great!!
